U.S. chat show host Jay Leno tested America's strict decency laws on Friday night when he aired a pixilated version of Eva Mendes' banned Calvin Klein perfume ad during his late-night program.

The sexy star, who inadvertently exposed her breast in the ad, was a guest on his Tonight Show and defended the "tasteful" commercial for Secret Obsession, stating "America has a problem with nudity".

So Leno aired the controversial ad, which features the actress rolling around naked in bed, in full, with Mendes' "nipple slip" covered.

The actress won rousing applause from the audience after the commercial aired, and said, "It's not too bad, right? Just classy, tasteful."
